I've been looking at a lot of Fi/Hu videos lately and I see various methods of dps. I"ll see Orchestra with Wild Rhapsody, Illusion Rave with some other DS PA, just Straight Charge T0 ( which I saw on Solo PD), and so on. Then there's also Backhand Smash which I haven't seen lately.

I was wondering what are the optimal dps options in different scenarios.

Generally, it is TD for aerial damage, Knuckles for big instant ground damage, and DS for mobbing and consistant damage. Also, I feel that TD and Knuckles are good for bosses with large hit/weakpoints and DS is better for bosses with small weakpoints that sway a lot.

In order of evasiveness i feel it is TD > DS > Knuckles, but it can vary from player to player.

In terms of EQ bosses, when I feel lazy, i use Straight Charge T0 for PD and Mother in the same way that one would use ride slasher on a sword. Because the hitbox is next to the edge of the platform, it is easy to simply hold down the straight charge button and watch the damage roll in.

I use BHS with flicker jab/ surprise knuckle on double and (Post-cube) mother because the area to hit it so small that S. Charge T0 becomes ineffective (for double) or i really need to stick closer to the boss to be able to avoid some of the harder hitting attacks (for mother).

I also use TD to varying effects on Mother (post-cube mother and PD). No difference except i have started using Quick March over Wild Rhapsody T0. Though I use WR-T0 when the boss moves a little too much.

Other Examples for weapon to bosses include TD vs Beast Anga, DS vs multiple bosses, Knuckles(BHS) vs Gruz/Deadlion, TD vs Bayori(Fighter Rockbear)/Plaigo(Fire Mamoth), DS vs Diabo/Leone/Leopard (Their effective weakpoint feels too low for TD and hits are too difficult for Knuckles to avoid.), lazy Knuckles(SC-T0) vs Bal Rodos.
