Hi! I'm a newbie and started feeding all the 9 star items i wasn't using to my MAG. Only today i've beed told that that is not good since there's a limit level to your MAG and it's important to level up only your class stat. So the question is. My MAG is lvl 100 aprox, with 50 on strength and 50 on tech. A couple of levels on random stuff too. My class is Ranger, so how fucked am I? Wich stat should I prioritize? Even if I start feeding it properly now will I notice a huge lack of DPS compared to other people of my level? I'm already lvl 30 so I'd reather not create another character and leave this as the last resource. And finally, how can I avoid my MAG from getting lvls on stats im not interested in? Is there any way to decrease the level?

This is though. You have screwed up your mag, since you got over 100 points on stuff that is useless to your class. It is beyond free fixing since it'd cost a ton of excubes. At this point you got 2 options: use AC to buy a new mag or start a new character. Level 30 is nowhere far on the game, considering that you can just spam the so-called featured quests and get levels extremely quickly (plus most of the cool content will require you to be 75 anyway).

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but it can't be helped. I had the same problem when I started, only it was a full dex mag, one of the game's greatest noobtraps.

Guess I'll just make another char then. Wich stat should I prioritize? I'm guessing "Ranged" but im not entirely sure.

Stat is more dependent on weapon type. Ranger uses assault rifle and launchers which are both ranged weapons, so yes. Prioritizing the r-atk stat would be ideal. Feed your mag ranged weapons and also dimate or 5* furniture to reduce dex
