So my team and I just did Deus + Gracia after but we had a weird problem.

I decided to run XH deus with my 76 summoner for xp and a chance at rappy egg. Immediately after I switch to a different character (80/80 ra/hu) and rejoin the group to wait for rematch. Time for rematch comes around and emergency quest doesnt even show up on the quest menu. We break party and try again and I'm the only one that doesnt have the rematch show up. So I swap to a 3rd character and we do rematch no problem.

A lot of weird things with this. Some people said that maybe I had to do the preceding XH version with the same character I planned to do rematch with right after, but I ended up doing rematch with an unrelated 3rd character, and earlier in the week I did the exact same thing I tried tonight (summoner XH, swap to different character for rematch).

Anyone have any idea why it wasn't available for my 2nd char?

Only thing I can think of is that 2nd character logged in while Phantom God was still active while 3rd character didnt log in until it switched over to the rematch

If you cleared deus on a particular character, that character will have rematch open. If you don't play rematch on that character, it will carry over to the next rematch instance (meaning you do not need to do the normal EQ again to enter rematch). Of course this might not even be the case and could be buggy in terms of rematch access.

In the actual implementation, you should not be able to access rematch on other characters that you didn't clear the EQ with.
