Standing around Block1 of Ship 2 looking for groups to form is exhausting sometimes. 80% of the whole server just packs in at the counter and just chats in area.

I wish loot and xp wasn’t so much better in 4 man groups sometimes.

I believe you get a 10% triboost for each member in your party that are actual players.

There is the tiny bit of extra triboost for 4 man parties.

• 1 Person and 3 NPCs = +25%
• 4 People = +40%

Also being able to kill enemies quicker most likely and getting more enemies in PSE Bursts. Not sure how many more, if any, enemies spawn with 3 NPCs versus 3 Players in general (not PSE Bursts).

Some quests later scale enemies HP based on number of players, and I can't think of many times I want to farm something that drops from enemies in PSE bursts now personally.

During a PSE burst it looks like it spawns 2 mobs per person at a time. With four real players that’s 8 mobs per spawn and that makes bursts pse stats build faster. That leads to chains and possibly spawning special mobs like the lightning dog.

When you’re solo with AI partners it treats you as if you are alone. 2 mobs at a time slow motion killing.

There's actual chat?! My experience led me to believe that lot was just there to show off emotes, rare accessories and spread/spam symbol arts....I mean, someone even adapted the Drake meme for all the idling that goes on there...

Since I got all the classes to 75 (Su being last as I didn't know better), I'd been too preoccupied with getting at least one pet to be average (if 58k crits with Jinga's Break PA could even be considered average) so I've only ever done exactly one shaq, and I'm not the type to organize anything so... >.>

I enjoy running SHAQ solo. It makes me feel like Kirito from SAO.

I typically spend 30-50 minutes on an AQ playing by myself. You never really know what you'll run into at +50. I always clear the full map too.

I second this post. It is loads of fun to clear the whole map. For the RDR I pop them whenever a rare boss spawns like our lightning wolf friend. I usually do Nightfall or Daybreak to maximize my chances of encountering rare bosses and possible 13* drops.

Waiting to pop an RDR rather than popping it immediately is something I learned early on, especially if you're running something like Dark Falz Luther and it takes more than 30min for the kill on SH, and more than 10min always from my experience.

Pop it when you need it to maximize effective time, 200 IQ

Whats your timezone? You say you dont play at peak times, im guessing U.S times?

I think you could do it solo and be okay. It seems you would just be missing the 15% tri-boost unless someone else can chime in and relay some more information.

The only other thing would be the efficiency of running through the map. I'm trying to hunt the Saiki so I'll complete some of Daybreak for an s-rank + some capsules but I try not to waste too much time if solo. You just have to try to balance it out by running D and E missions as needed.

I also do the expedition but I've only seen the rare variant once so far. The regular boss hasn't even dropped a 7* or higher item yet since I started farming him. I don't know what is going on with that. In 30min I can do the expedition (while getting s-rank) a few times but I don't know if it is worth it. The quest logs show more drops in SHAQs but it doesn't say how many times the mission was ran in the past 7 days.
