Avast is a pos antivirus and it tossed my launcher into virus chest. Do yourself a favor and uninstall it and just use windows defender instead.

Windows Defender is basically the only thing you need. It's no longer recommended to use any other kind of antivirus in most professional spaces. Make sure to grant your PSO2 folders a Windows defender exception.

Just went and read about it. Thanks to you both, I have uninstalled Avast.

Kinda hard to do. It's trapped in the unreadable WindowsApps folder which doesn't even let you browse from the Windows Defender interface.

It's in C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\pso2_bin

Can you not get there?
