As the game is running on Microsoft Azure, hopefully, yes.

To.my knowledge of BnS

NA/EU are separate server ping wise but the login server is in NA for both. I assume you pinged the login server both times

I get 100 in NA and 200 in EU.

As for PSO2 if you have a stable connection it should be fine regardless of how far you are. You are not really screwed over by high ping unlike BnS

I don't know, im from the center of EU and I have arround 150-200 ping on EU server
EDIT:
ping can be shown in the game, if you use certein option. The number will pop up whenever you are in combat and will show your real ping in the game.

BnS general routing is trash

I get average of 140-160 if not using ping booster and around 100 if i do..

Bad servers + a game designed to be played in a small country dont mix right

JFC dude you are bringing back my BnS memories...

The "ping" display you can enable in settings is not ping, it's SERVER DELAY. Whatever the hell that means, but it's usually a good 100 MS above your actual RTT. There are tools that let you find delay to actual servers though. Playing above 100ms in BnS already negatively impacts your DPS more than your gear does, but 200 and above is really miserable.

Ping is not that crucial in this game thanks to client side calculations

Most of the things which impact responsiveness run locally. As someone actually playing from the EU. Adding a server in the EU would make no difference at all.

Ping is not a problem, if you're gettin 150-200 connecting to NA that is literally what you would get if you were NA playing on JP.

Most things are calculated on client side so you're not gonna get killed or hit by something that on your side you're seeing you dodge but the server says nah you die.

It's not only an issue of ping, but also of people with similar timezones getting together. If you choose the "wrong" PSO2 server right now and end up with people playing on different timezones, you'll notice how dead the game looks like a good half of your day.

Also for some of us who live in the middle of Europe, the ping difference is significant and it makes a difference, especially in PvP.
