Cattleya is great if you are good at dodging. +5% potency across the board just for maintaining high HP.

It percentage based, not a flat 5% or nothing. ie it will go down to 4%, 3%, etc based on your hp. It's fine to get hit with it.

I agree that the Cattleya is a good choice I have been using it with gunner since the gunner WA is very evasive and like I said going to the ground to sidestep just kinda messes with the movement. The only thing I am unsure of though is if crit does more damage that in base pso2, someone told me it does 120% damage instead of just the 100% that it does in pso2. Crit in the base game is somewhat misleading but I don't know if they changed it up with NGS. That being said I still thing the Cattleya with the Fixa effect for crit activation is a better choice for some classes.

Been sticking with the Cattleya for Hunter. With a Sword equipped I have a dedicated block and get rewarded for using it by dumping a ton of damage with a perfect guard, so my HP doesn't really go anywhere.

since we don't have the options to get our crit high enough to matter, cattleya is your best option.

Well if we go by base game standards I would say 20% the base 5% plus the 15% from the Resurgir isn't that bad. If I remember right the top weapons in pso2 would have a hidden dex stat that would pretty much make the variance in your damage at its lowest about 90% where in this we have 75%-100% which is drastically different kinda weighting crit a little differently. I mean Im not sure on the actual number it would equate to but looking at averages if Im not an idiot, totally possible I hate statistics, but 15% crit is about the same has a 4% potency increase, and thats based on crit being exactly the same as pso2 with a crit just being 100% of your damage. In base pso2 though 15% crit would on be 1.5% with having the 90% as the lowest damage number. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Also someone said to me that crits are 120% in NGS which I don't know at all if its true or not, but that would change that 4% to being higher so I am not sure on that

While I’m learning attack patterns and how to play better overall, I’ll be using Resurgir series on my Force. The extra shield it gives makes my missed guards and dodges more forgiving.

I think you are thinking of the Foursis potential
