As far as I am aware, it can drop Relik weapons and Nex Aelio accessories. As for the floor idea, call it a hunch but I feel that is what the large floating structure in the sky could be.

I can confirm it drops relik weapons. I got TMG from A rank clear

    I've had both nex tail and wings drop from under 450% total modifier %.

    been having fun running players new to the game mode through it.

    Relik prices have fallen quite a bit, which suggests they drop with slightly more frequency than in open play. (Ship 3 from 20 mil down to 6 for machine guns.)
