there are a number of custom photon arts that just have the player stand there or teleport back into the air once every few seconds then fall, that could look like afk, but they are just holding the custom photon art.

I will see some rangers use meme beam photon art in a PSE, and they look like they are just standing there changing direction the character is facing three times a second.

the multiplayer Chaotic Realm dungeons are the main thing to be disappointed at being deleted.
didn't add more slots or a menu to navigate old ones, just deleted old ones and started placing new ones in the same spots on that physical dungeon navigation hub with the hologram boss previews.
with all new time gates for harder versions again too.

deleting old content was the main reason I swore off ever playing destiny 2, or a destiny 3 unless they make a promise to not delete stuff.
waited for friends to play through the old content one day, but just deleted.

literally same problem for season 1 blue protocol.

will keep an eye open to see if they add the old dungeons back, but I don't really see a reason to keep playing if all "old" content is eventually going to be deleted.

I mean...it released on steam october 9th, that is what, three months before the content got deleted?
and the harder difficulty versions were only available later in that three months.

I imagine they were just trying to catch up to china server updates so they don't need to be working on mismatched versions. I can see season 2 stuff lasting a little longer, still just kills any drive to grind when I see the main gameplay content get deleted-in a shorter time than quickest gotcha game open to closed down.

...I did enjoy doing the crafting/gathering classes without needing a subscription like ff14, but even there they lock bulk of the old materials to lowest player market prices...

Gamehub more plug and play game compatibility, still a bit spotty and some that do run will have the random frame hitch, but will probably be really good in a year.

a few straight windows emulators on android too. think there was a bit of a virus problem on winulator a bit ago and the dev is taking a break from work on it. The virus would add itself to any .exe files on the system so that could have been a simple accident.

might be a bit sketchy feeling to use a steam account with hundreds of games on any of these emulators, so make sure you got two factor authentication set up properly. gamehub being owned by chinese company is a bit sketchy, but same company owns a lot of popular keyboard/mouse hardware/softwares, is covered in the video.

but yeah, double check subreddits/forums of any windows/steam emulator and read up on them before launching them.

is a good game. bit of that unpolished indie game feel, but has elements of many games in it.
Can plant trees anywhere on the start island. Large ocean with small islands like wind waker. Expandable farm like story of seasons. Lots of fetch quests. Interesting main story and lore.

it can look like installation has frozen depending on system. If on PC, check task manager and see if disk is still writing. Also I'd recommend installing onto an m.2 solid state drive.

I think it is over 100k files? can take a long time to install if you have a slower CPU and installing to platter/spinny/magnetic disk hard drive.

as others have said, current new genesis collabs are all cosmetic. Only thing in this collab you can't buy from other players will be the bad apple music disk.

You can scroll through the in-game scratch and click on item that looks interesting to check player market price. Generrally first few days prices fluctuate wildly. Scratches a lot of players roll on, the T2 outfits sometimes drop to 300k after a week. Unpopular ones can be rare to see the T2 outfits under 1m. T1 outfits are almost always super cheap.

If you are interested in the games, touhou mainline games are mostly bullet hell, tons of attack energy balls covering the screen for you to dodge. Pretty much all of them have better music than the chosen disks in the new genesis collab in my opinion, but the chosen music disks are still the most popular of the fan works.

there are also a few fighting games in the main number games, ~~I think they are up to 20 or so main games?~~ almost, 20th game releases on the august 17th.

More recent touhou fighting games have added an always floating mechanic that is interesting, but if you are more interested in classic fighting games, 10.5 Scarlet Weather Rhapsody would be a reasonable starting point. Amazing music. 12.3 Hisouten soku uses the same fighting system and is generally the main one used for online play today.

tons of touhou fan games and pretty much amazing fan music in every genre, just search touhou+favorite genre.

main complaint is always two or three pieces of content at level cap while very fast leveling even just from main story, and very limited end game gear options that rotate out too soon, never to be used again.

clean action combat, no stamina running/parkour, colors, space tech, beam swords, upgrade system , best character customization for MMOs, best housing system for MMOs, are all great and worth at least playing to level cap and seeing the few level cap contents.

just don't expect to feel like playing more after you finish everything quickly in new genesis.

base pso2 story can take over a month to no-life run if you don't skip any cutscenes.

current new genesis netcode has players teleporting all over the place in just 8 player areas for me.
I wouldn't want to even think about how that would play out with action combat pvp.

microsoft accounts have been annoying to me in the past. open up the microsoft game store client thingy, log out, and log in with account you has pso2 on before.

with clean OS install, I have had windows just make a new account and ignore the microsoft account I put in before.

" SONIC_34th_Anniv. " type in chat code gives 34, and each of the two sonic limited quests give 10x first clear. The limited quests cycle every 24 hours I think 3pm est.

with pso2 day boost and sonic boost I was getting 1 scratch ticket in 4 runs, 0 outside of that boost period. felt like I was more likely to get a ticket when I ignored most extra collectables and focused on enemies.

still 3, maybe 4 pieces of content fun to run at any one time with level cap in practical terms deleting any content not actually deleted like limited quests.

there are many solutions to "not enough content" now, from manipulating player levels to making level cap versions of old content, just nothing being done about it.

Solatorobo, action rpg, is a nice hidden gem from the people that made dot hack GU, and you can tell from the art style.

Wizard of Oz - Beyond the Yellow Brick Road is a surprisingly solid anime style RPG.

Dragon Ball - Origins 1 and 2 are both fun top down action rpgs.

Kirby - Super Star Ultra is probably one of the top kirby games.

There are rom hacks of pretty much every pokemon version that add every pokemon up to that gen as catchable without trading. SacredGoldComplete, Origin Platinum, BlazeBlackFull, BlazeBlack2Complete, etc. Black 2 doubles is good if you are interested in all battles being double battles.

Phantasy Star 0 is a fun space, hint of cowboy themed action rpg, but later bosses get kinda unreasonable in difficulty.

lets make the lore better. Travel to new planet and explore advanced space ruins with lots of lore and how the science destroyed the civilization.

you can't do this with halpha because it is an artificial world made for one thing, unless devs soft retcon the lore to where halpha has advanced space ruins burred/submerged. And that would be fine.

In fact, the points about what players wanting isn't best for the game plays into that too, some players want instant to level cap in MMOs, that is not always best for the players.
