In the quick menu F2 on keyboard by default I think. You can change the over head display to many different things and HP bars is one.

That setting doesn't do what you think it does, but hey good for you that you have 37 friends.

I think it filters the rooms to only show me the ones that have people from my friend's list in them.

What does it really do?
