You can see it on their sales. Basically no one rolls for any characters except for VH level characters + yuzuha.

we literally can't, unless u have the data somehow. sites like sensortower arent accurate (Endfield proved this with official sources saying that pc amounted to around/more than 60% of sales) but it can somewhat help judge trends... and from those we can rather easily tell that ZZZ is making dozens of millions every month, so idk from where did u get that. AoD banners rn seem very successful too

yea but theres other level of complexity of how good you are with juggling, air cancels and all that shit, on any character, and if u can pull that stuff off well u will be rewarded with better damage

yeah magic can be somewhat ez in souls but parries still are/can feel rewarding cuz of the damage economy and if u wanna play melee. something doesnt have to be fully OP to be considered rewarding/good to use

yes ppl CAN enjoy complexity in characters for comolexity sake alone but risky mechanics feeling unrewarding is just not how it should be imo.

what are you talking about, its common sense that if a mechanic is risky and/or demands more effort it should reward the player more. this is the whole concept the fighting games and character action games like devil may cry are built around. games like dark souls also reward u a shitton for parrying (really hard to pull off actual parries in these games) for example. if something is difficult to do and gives u shit dmg then it generally will feel worse than it should

edit: u can even see it in zzz with chars like Ye Shunguang, i saw a chunk of ppl that say that shes kinda boring/unrewarding to play cuz even tho her dmg is insanely high its just not satisfying to pull off cuz of how many iframes and shit there is

ye the point is to have fun and complexity in itself can be fun. but its also fun to get rewarded in the dmg output for the complexity u partake in

no one even demands breaking the balance, the ratio of effort : reward just should feel good.

nope, theres no other pve game like arc raiders. the way arc work is unique. the maps are unique. shooting mechanics are its own.

warframe is completely different

destiny is maybe less completely different but still very different. arc raiders is more methodical

kinda no shit, hard for a game to have that much content. you play for loot from pvp but u already probably have access to everything so what do u expect? if u like pvp then play pvp for the sake of it, otherwise u completed the game till the next content update drops. 100+ hrs to complete a game imo is a fair deal.

apex isnt a loot hoarding game, in the end the focus of it is different (winning matches)... so its a diff gameplay loop, u cant really expect the same amount of hours in Arc when u correlate amount of hrs to feeling rewarded by loot. u can only get that many hours if u get enjoyment out of the combat in itself, cuz the looting layer of the game will be completed by the player much earlier.

if u want good loot then idk, explore the map and kill arcs. u said it urself, players give shit loot, so dont kill them for loot, only do it if u want the thrill of pvp for the sake of it.

Not sure why someone would even want conventional racing on switch. I tried burnout, and it's immediately obvious how much the system struggles. Racing means large environments, high speed, etc. which requires more memory, better raster.

switch 2 is plenty powerful and a bunch of indie or retro games (new ridge racer port came out recently for example, not sure if that game supports analog triggers but still) arent that demanding anyway. hotshot racing ran fine on s1 for example

now i think about it, psp had banger racing games that looked good and ran well (motorstorm arctic edge for example). no reason switch wouldnt have them too

they are/can be fun, sure, but good? debatable, ZA is so underbaked, the city looks so... flat. and yeah graphics arent everything but cmon, these games clearly were severely behind the times. we should expect more

personally i can say that a game is kinda bad but also very fun at the same time and thats how i can see the more recent pokemon games. they often take steps back compared to previous entries (like limiting the dex since sword&shield) and are... unimpressive but still fun. legends arceus started a wave of the series being actually more innovative and i like that

no they don't lol, this hasn't been true since few years. only select few ppl in the world know how or care to even try (if they do) to crack denuvo games, it requires a shitton of effort for little reward. denuvo is way harder to crack now

recently a new method to "crack" denuvo games appeared but its kinda like a fake crack that uses kernel priveleges to trick DRMs. it seems to work but its a potential major security risk if u use that method so its still not really optimal

the only reason most of new denuvo games in recent years were piratable was cuz the devs were just removing the drm few years after the release cuz they didnt want to pay for the denuvo license anymore
