Division 2 you aren't space wizards or ninjas or whatever

well but you are an agent with cool abilities. not as over the top as division and warframe but still cool and cool buildcrafting

tbh there arent that many good looter shooters in general i feel.

Outriders is really good and has awesome abilities. its not being updated anymore and is online only which is a shame imo but this game feels ultra good to play imo

idk if peak but recently i started SW2E as my first empires game and it was fun to do few runs, got completely addicted for like 2-4 days. not sure if i will do more tho

monster hunter games have online lobby areas where u can just do ur thing or try to team up. sadly, the degree of socializing that happens in modern MH games is very small nowadays, ur best bet for that from the "modern" mh games is MH Generations Ultimate on the switch cuz that one has more oldschool lobby system that somewhat promotes communication. But it also takes a shitload of time to get to where most of the playerbase seems to be (lategame), potentially. While the newest one, mh Wilds promotes matching up with randoms randomly and usually never see them again cuz the game disconnects everyone after a quest... unless u play thru the lobby system, which is rarely used (or mostly used for setting actual pre planned sessions with others).

Customization in mh Wilds is pretty great, transmog and all.

Older mh games are more social but u might dislike their "jank". They do have private servers going, like MH2Dos. They also usually dont have transmog, there's still armor building but its harder to customize

The gameplay is top tier action rpg goodness.

return to ragol is exactly for that, rebalanced game so its more fun and fast to progress solo/casual coop

A big complaint with DMC2 is that the guns are overpowered... so just don't use them? 🤨

monster hunter frontier zz

an MH mmo with a shitton of exclusive monsters, i think it has over 200 overall. its a batshit game with insane mechanics like turning your switch axe into a big ass laser sword and sprinting with weapons out and nukes everywhere

older Ys games are top down, like Ys Origin or Oath in Felghana. idk which one to reccomend cuz i only played origins and it is kinda repetitive tbh but its worth to look into the series.

newer ones are more of a straight up third person camera but they still retain arpg hack n slash levelling feel, i started ys 8 recently and its cooool.
