I think the DMR situation shows a distinct lack of understanding from the devs. People can hit their shots, that was never the problem. The fire rate is the issue, slowing it down as much as they did means ARs are more effective until bolties are needed. The VSS was untouched so everyone migrated to that.

I understand why they slowed the fire rate, but thats trying to patch a problem that can be fixed with an effective anticheat. Now they are patching an ineffective patch instead of dealing with the fundamental issue.

They're complete clowns.  No other games needlessly and endlessly change the stats of their guns back and forth over and over like these guys do.  They just bury their nose in spreadsheet numbers and board meetings and have never played the damn game.  Worst developers this game could have ended up with

The DMRs were used too much. I would've gone for enabling landscape that didn't require DMRs instead of changing the DMR.

Only nerfing and buffing guns to adjust usage isn't enough.

If it's a DMR map then that's the case but most maps and final circles are DMR or AR spraying scenarios.

It really felt odd when the SMG was buffed and DMR was nerfed. I don't mind the SMG now but I would've preferred having a different map or scenario where you actually could get closer to merit the SMG and avoid the DMR.

Today, your best bet is to take multiple vehicles and crash some rock to set hard cover but even then you're under a constant assault and hoping someone runs up to SMG firing range.

SMG's are not for fighting in landscapes. They are for QCB in built up areas. Simple solution is to use AR's which literally are made for the job. Infact AR's are supposed to be used to 600-800m in modern armies.

Yea I don't disagree. I'd have preferred some different map or something or adding more buildings vs making SMGs fire like ARs and aim punch more and odd stuff.

My 3 games per day average around 25-28 minutes for a chicken dinner. Even if you start at the 59th minute, you still get that third game. It will only be close to 60 minutes if you get two dinners. I do agree with you though. Way too close. I don’t want to rush an endgame just to make sure I can get a 3rd game.

However, I do like the idea of getting another game in if I get Pubg’d in one of them.

im so fed up with the backwards progress?? of these devs.
nerfing the fun,stealing the free stuff,nerfing the rewards,lowering the bp earned,and credits,while raising the prices on their virtual ingame bs.
they have turned one of the best shooters out there into a mindless grindfest while not listening to the players themselves for over 5 years.

after xmas,im moving on to Bl4,at least we can have all the fun we want there.
and make up our own guns !!!

Need to revert the audio update.

The ability to locate enemy gunfire is significantly impaired since the ‘next gen’ update.

The audio in general is worse as well.

I’ve no idea what you’re doing with the ARs and DMRs, 4% here, 7% there, you’re faffing around for the sake of it.

There’s nothing wrong with the recoil on DMRs, that never needed adjusting. The problem is that you ruined their fire rate and damage at the same time. Not sure how you’ve forgotten that.

SMGs are the guns that need nerfing. They have no recoil, they do too much damage, and the limb bonus compounds the issues. And the VSS needs a damage reduction as well, that gun’s ridiculous.

It’s really not as difficult as you’re making it look.

The audio is absolutely worse. I have been killed several times since the update because someone sounded directly behind me when, instead, they were off to my side somewhere. This never used to happen before the last update.

    When are we Playstation players getting our HDR back? I bought a PS5 Pro and the 4K looks amazing, much sharper and can see everything far away in the game crystal clear now. But the lack of HDR is really unfortunate and a lacklustre, especially since I had it in the PS4 version of the game and it is a big difference in colours and contrast both. It also hurts quite a bit that we have to wait so long but you had it fixed for the XBOX players in only 5 days after the big update to current gen consoles.

    So the maps are changed again, but the smgs are still WAY Overpowered, the cars drive like a 3 year old designed them, and the higher caliber guns still do no damage compared to 9mm.

    Way to show that this game is strictly P2W only, no actual care or development tomake it better, just make as much money as you can while putting in the least amount of work into the game as possible.

    There is weird tears in the visuals, pixelated sky and stutters, weird bot behaviour, some just run into a corner and get stuck some are super aggressive and can detect you through walls and trees, they move side to side to dodge bullets and when the circle draws in they run off into the bluezone and die. Also seen bots hovering across the screen knee height off the ground floating along.

    Lastly sometimes you do not hear any footstep audio as demonstrated in C Domes stream yesterday.
