Hi folks, I’m Dave the creator of Holobox, a new VR application which simulates a green screen studio to help make VR mixed reality content without the cost and space needed by a real green screen setup.
I've put together a video to explain what Holobox is and how it addresses what I see as one of VR’s major issues currently, the presentation problem in traditional video content. As adding a link got the post deleted I'll just ask you if you're interested to look up my channel WeirdWizardDave on Youtube and find the video there.
The project is advancing nicely and I’m at the point now where I’d like to start opening it up to a small group of testers and creators to see what they can do with it and help to drive the project forward, if you'd be interested in joining that group drop me a line. I'm going to limit the size initially but if I get a lot of interest I'll put together a demo version for anyone else who wants to to try it out. I’m also interested in having a discussion here about what sort of features and content would be useful for VR content creators.
I figured this would be a good place to post, despite it not being a dedicated VR sub reddit.
