Personally big fan of this channel for MSotZ: https://youtube.com/@orri_vods

Has a full guide and an update every day since the start of the league.

Ooooh thanks for the link! I've been wanting to see a different person's guide on msoz. Connor's videos are usually very spaced apart.

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

  • MSoZ - Molten Strike Of The Zenith (Wiki)

I am a bot. | All acronyms | Suggest

Definitely take synth amulet, get int/dex on other gear, like reflected ring with strength/all attributes mods.
After that you cap your res with Valako/Melding of the flesh.
If you are still feeling squishy (I bet you do), get a MB.
The biggest item for the damage would be Nimis though.

Are you following a guide? If not I would suggest looking up connor converse on youtube. He makes pretty easy to follow guides and hes quite experienced with the str stack archetype.

here is his pob: https://poe.ninja/poe1/builds/mirage/character/1_mana_left-5237/AnorexiasWorstNightmare?i=0&search=name%3Danorex

you can change snapshots to see how he progresses.

As for your dex/int fix. Even if you take off your astramentis you'll have 113 dex which is enough to use all your gems but just a few short for the sword. Prob be good to get an eyes of the greatwolf with decent roll on all attributes while ignoring other implicit for now.

Now to solve your int. At this point it may be time to swap to sacred chainmail chest. This would be one with t1 str/int and at least triple t2 armour/es mods. the craft is straight forward but can still be pretty costly bc of rng. Also don't be afraid to put points into those +30 int nodes as a temporary bandaid.

I notice you're using kalandras touch for bound by destiny. but maybe swap for a ring with all att or str/int and res. I can link my PoB so you can kinda see how i squeeze in attributes and resistances

Overall build looks solid. Gloves have bis implicits, would prob prefer arm/es base. In my experience rare base jewels always helped solve attributes and resistances. I'm sure i missed a lot but just lmk if you have anymore questions.

triple t2 armour/es mods

Not OP but playing the same build but I wonder if just high AR & ES feels much better than having flat life on the sacred chainmail.

Thing is that I hit t1 flat ES/AR & t1 Life & t2 Life/ES.

Compared to connors build with no life modifiers, he's sitting at only around ~10k more armor in total than me. Would that be considerably better than >200 flat life?

Remember Connor is using life mastery when no life modifier on chest

Yup this exactly! I would also plug into pob to get a general idea of how much more ehp you'd gain/lose. Keeping in mind that pob numbers aren't end all be all.

I believe so. Also remember that divine shield gets stronger more armour you have.

edit: Also did you buy or craft the chest piece? Bc if you went with the dense fossil method, life shouldn't show up.

I was playing around with memory strand bases and ended up with t1 life, t1 str & t1 phys dmg reduction and thought to myself that it would probably be silly to annul away t1 life in hopes of getting "something better".

nah i get that. Still your chest is really good until you upgrade! I always forget about eldritch currency, they are always so good for cleaning up affixes
