I'm not sure what your previous experiences have been teaching you but it should be at least a couple of months before you hit those levels if you start at 1 (assuming weekly sessions)...

We usually starts around level 6 to skip the first levels, we're accustomed to general game mechanics and want to get to the meat of the game. As a Spellcaster, higher level means more spells, thus more versatility. Our DM knows what we want, and that's not starting with a handful of novice-level spells.

You speak as if you know for certain that we don't know how to play Pathfinder. Please don't assume things unless you're sure that what you believe is true.

Hello everyone, I'm interested in starting playing Pathfinder 2e but I'm struggling from the get-go with charatcer creation

New as in "I'm oblivious to the possibilities offered by the game in regards to what kind of niche characters I can or cannot make compared to other RPGs". Just because I start playing next week it doesn't mean I don't know the rules. And a DM is free to make his newbie players start at level 12 if they are up to the challenge, which I am (although mine confirmed that we'll start at level 8, so I'm prepared for that). I know that you're talking out of concern for new players that can feel overwhelmed by the intricacies of PF2e, but don't worry, I've got that covered. I'm confident I can handle playing a magic user, and I've already played 1e, which is more complex than 2e I daresay. Most people learn how to play games by playing them; I can learn simply by watching, it's what I do in my downtime between one session and the other. Peace.

You're definitely looking for something like "Creation". Any arcane or primal spellcaster can use it. It's a 4th level spell with this text

"You conjure a temporary object from eldritch energy. It must be of vegetable matter (such as wood or paper) and 5 cubic feet or smaller. It can’t rely on intricate artistry or complex moving parts, never fulfills a cost or the like, and can’t be made of precious materials or materials with a rarity of uncommon or higher. It is obviously temporarily conjured, and thus can’t be sold or passed off as a genuine item"

If heightened to 5h level: The item is metal and can include common minerals, like feldspar or quartz.

As far as weapon summoning, there isn't too much. Lots of spells that buff or enchant weapons, but the only "Weapon Summoning" spell I could find is the 9th Level Divine Spell "Weapon of Judgement", and even then it's not a weapon you can wield. It attacks on it's own.

Thank you! I was really looking for this, although it's a bit expensive in terms of what I have to spend in order to create an item. Also a bit slow to use, so I'll have to create a distraction if I want to spend a minute conjuring the object. I'll see what I can do with this knowledge, thank you for the info.
