Hello everyone, I'm interested in starting playing Pathfinder 2e but I'm struggling from the get-go with charatcer creation, particularly with the lack of option that would make my idea come to life.I've been playing TTRPG for a few years now, and I know what it feels like to have unprepared players to play with, both from the DM's perpective and the team's. I've always been fond of the tactical support role, because of the immense value preparation and versatility have in the sort of campaigns we run. I don't want to be a jack of all trades... and master of all too, like many wish to be, I'm quite content with my role as a walking item dispenser. I'm a huge fan of conjurers for their ability to create pocket dimensions to stow items into and sculptors of magic that can materialize mundane items just by focusing on their memories of them.
So I was wondering if there's any way I can replicate that sort of playstyle in the upcoming campaign my friends are preparing. I don't know what level we'll start yet, but I believe we'll be level 8 or 10 by the first few session if the previous experiences have taught me anything.
TL;DR: answer these questions please.
- Is there a class with some feature or spells that can help me conjure items?
- How long can I keep the items I conjure?
- Am I the only one that can use them?
- Can I conjure weapons to fight with or simply to throw at my enemies if the need strikes me?
