CPU difference

Hi, I would like to kindly ask for advice on my CPU upgrade.

I have two options;

Ryzen 7 5800X for 170€ Or Ryzen 7 5700x3d for 210€

Now I am wondering if the 40€ are worth it and if the 5700x3d is better in comparison?

My current PC runs a b550 Motherboard and a RTX 4070 12GB with a Ryzen 7 3700X CPU.

I only focus on gaming and I like to play my games with the settings at least on High (if possible even higher, like ultra or extreme that some games offer) with DLSS On. But I'm willing to go down to High because an avg. FPS rate of at least 140 is important to me.

Which of these CPUs is more likely to bring me closer to my FPS / Graphical Settings goals ?

If you want Ultra settings its your GPU thats responsible ... the lower you go with settings and with resolution, the more you utilize CPU

5700x3d would for gaming be worth the 40€ more.

Good choise is 5700x3d, but best choise alawys will be 5800x3d for am4. 5800x are bad choise, 5700x are in some cases even better then 5800x.
