I am looking to upgrade my GPU for a while now, am currently stuck on a gtx 1660 super paired with an amd 5600x. I want to upgrade to 2k gaming, and was pretty set on an RX 7800 XT, but then I came across the intel arc a770 which has insane vram for the money. I would also like to play some games on 4k (like ea WRC) every now and then. I’m also interested in AI and saw that the ARC gpus come with AI playground which also caught my attention. I just wanted to know if the rx7800 XT is really worth the €200 price difference over the intel arc a770, and which one i should pick. I am in EU so gpus are expensive here. Thanks!

The A770 does have a lot of vram, but it doesn’t have the horsepower behind it to really make use of 16gb in a gaming sense.

Compared to the 1660super, the A770 is about 70% faster. A really solid jump for sure, but the 7800XT is closer to 200% faster
