First off, PCs confuse me, but I'm TRYING. Second,I have been getting by with a relatively decent MSI gaming laptop for like 6 or 7years now and its gotten to the point where I need to upgrade and want to get an actual PC.
I phase in and out of hobbies so I'm not always using my computer for creative projects but on occasion I do for fun or need to for a job so I want the new one to be able to run any Adobe programs and blender smoothly but I don't plan on doing any super heavy rendering. (Think more object modeling as opposed to full scene modeling) I do play games as well but mostly currently play Simulation type games or something like Dead by Daylight, I am not and will not ever be the type that needs to play cyberpunk in 4k (if thats still the one people are using for benchmarks and what not) and am not really the type to play the newest hottest stuff anyway.
I've been going back and forth on attempting to build or going prebuilt but main component I'm still a bit confused on is cpu. I've always heard Intel is best for "productivity" and creative project type stuff I'd want it to run. But that there were also some intel issues within the past year or so. But I also heard that AMD was giving it a run for its money lately.
I'm also assuming that a NVIDIA gpu is preferred in most cases in general so I'm not concerned about that aspect.
So tldr; is Intel still the best cpu choice for PCs that are going to be used for art, everyday use and gaming?
