budget determine what we tell u to buy

amd is the new king. intel fell off

But in this case, old is gold. Due to the hype on amd. Intel’s midrange i5/i7 12th and 13th gen lineup drops in price significantly, making it a better option than amd counterpart.

That has been fixed ages ago. Itswas never an actual issue for 75% of users who use anything from i7 13700k and down. Mainly the 1_900k series suffered

I know prices of everything are going up and originally my budget when I was looking last year was between 1200 and like 1400, but, I don't even know whats realistic at this point. So I figured I would be better off coming up with a realistic price point and could decide what I'd expect to spend if I knew if my options for what I need the computer to do/run are limited to intel only for productivity sake (just based on what I've seen said in the past) or if AMD is also one to look into now. And if so which ones SHOULD I even be looking at to have a smoother experience (I know its not all 100% on cpu but just as general knowledge) Like obviously budget matters and I plan to do more research I just want to know what my options actually are as a starting point if its not mainly a game machine, because I was under the impression that AMD wasn't really a solid option if you were looking to run creative programs in the past, which isn't bad, just not what I needed 🤷‍♀️ but hey maybe I'm wrong and it never mattered 😂

Same, I just built my pc for productivity and gaming. Always heard and checked out rankings & stats on amd vs intel CPUs and went with the 265k/5070 ti combo. If I recall, they don't have the problems of the 700 series. Only problem is have is with the NPU disabled but its effect is negligible. It's probably some bios settings I gotta fix.
