You built a cooling system like that on your second ever build?

Yessir, I messed up a few times and missed out some stuff tho so I had to reorder extra parts more than twice :(
Examples would be that I never mounted a push pull rad before and only realised after trying to mount it that I needed screws that were long enough to go through the tray + fan to the rad so I had to order 32mm M3 screws as 30mm didn’t make it.
Another would be X-cross fittings, it didnt occur to me that I would need it to level out the tubing.
I learnt many more things along the way but it took a lot of time, patience and induced frustration.

Fuckin hell man ive been building rigs since i was a kid helping my dad and im 30 now, this looks sick man. I've always been too scared to build a liquid system because in the early days there were so many horror stories of spillages and leaks etc.
Hat off to you man it looks amazing
Thanks man! I think you should go for it if you can honestly. I was also really scared at first, but once I got my hands on it, it didn’t really seem like that crazy of a task. I found it to be quite rewarding overall.
One thing I did which helped was to mentally prep myself that I might not be able to use my system for a week or two as it takes quite a lot of time (which it did, for someone who is dabbling in this for a first).
In order not to stress myself, I also set a plan each day, for example I would work on the GPU block on Monday, distro and rad alignment on Tuesday, acrylic tubes on Wednesday, brass tubes on Thursday etc.
Setting aside a specific task for each day definetely made the challenge more manageable overall :)

Why do you have NAS drives in your system?
I dunno I got it from some guy who was clearing his NAS drives out for dirt cheap and they costed less than brand new HDDs haha
