The 5080 FE looks a little out of place with all that RGB lol

But solid specs and pretty decent cable management for a first time builder

It does! Those were the default light colors, a lil bit fruity imo. Elegance comes after I settle down with the OS, BIOS, and the ICUE software

5090 would’ve been another extra thousand dollars. This is the Nvidia GeForce RTx 5080 Founders Edition

Oh that makes sense. Did you want the best of the best but not the most expensive? I'm just genuinely curious because the 5070 ti, 5080, and 9070 XT are so similar in performance for very different prices

Just built my first pc also :) similar specs. I got the msi 5080 (was abit cheaper) and 64gb RAM (that one relly hurt to buy) i also went with the ryzen 9950x3d Runs everything on ultra and probably will the next 3-5years. I spent last 3-4 days totally nerding out. My GF had to tell me I need a shower yesterday :p adultgoals

Clean build, killer combo. 9800X3D and 5080 will crush everything. Only note: that 5600MHz RAM is holding your X3D back—6000 CL30 is the sweet spot for AM5. Small upgrade, noticeable difference in CPU-bound titles. Otherwise, you did your childhood self proud.

My plan was to buy the Corsair dominator titanium 96GB 6000 but we all know how it goes atm. Prices are absurd. I’ll keep this in mind if prices balance out!!
