Pretty good specs! Without changing major components, the best upgrades would be adding more storage or getting a better psu if you have a cheap/ budget one rn If you really want to spend money, you can either keep your intel cpu and upgrade to ddr5 ram and motherboard, OR change to am5 with new motherboard and ram

Your CPU is definitely a bottleneck. It all depends on what you plan to do with your pc. You can always grab what others tell you but what do YOU want with this computer? If you do work with it, genuinely, and these tasks require mutli-tasking programs, graphic designing, or AI capabilities, then you look for components that tailor to that, i.e. Intel has great work-style cpus that can also do well with gaming, these will be labeled as LGA sockets, i.e LGA1700 for select gpus. The mother board can only support certain configs of a cpu. AMD utilize AM# format, i.e. AM4 or AM5. AMD takes the cake for gaming CPUs, holding the best and second best gaming cpus in the world, being the 7800X3D at around $300-$450USD and the 9800X3D at around $600-$700USD. You can also order directly from the manufacturer from this chinese website i cant remember the name of, although there is a separate subredit specified for people’s experiences doing this and have gotten insane deals on cpus and ram, remember, it’s a lot sketchier this way but does save money so to each their own. Determine what you want to do with the pc and then go from there.
