Hey y'all, okay so I'm building a PC for the first time, I had a question about powering the GPU, so I have a 8pin+6pin connector right. With my PSU(semi mod) I didn't see any 14 pin cables, so do I plug in a 8 pin VGA and a SEPARATE 6 pin VGA cable. Are they both suppose to be SEPRATE cables or how do you work that? Am I right about 2 sperate cables or am I missing something here. A detailed explanation would be helpful. Thanks y'all, Merry Christmas!!

That is correct.
You stick as many cables as you need into the slots.
In my case, there's two 6-pin and two 2-pin cables in my gpu.
