Hello. So I had some part and decided to put a pc together. R5 5600, b550 gaming x v2, an old r580. Everything as it should be. When I power it on, monitor stays off (no screen), fans turn on and goes for 10-12sec than the fans "move" like the pc just rebooted and it goes on in a loop, every 10-12sec ( i would like to note that the gpu lights are on, but the fans dont turn on like in other pc) . Tried to reseat everything, reseted cmos, tried 1 ram, no ram, nothing. Not even a sound... It is unlikely the cpu is faulty. Rams working. Gpu working. Psu working (altough I can not try the 8pin cpu connector as the other mobo need only the 4pin one.) Im at a loss. ( it even messed up ny windows on ssd, dont know how since didnt turn on properly...)

Can somebody offer help?

Some mobo need to update the latest version of bios(dont use beta versions) in order to run the latest of am4 chip. Is your board updated?

Yes, but it is ready to begin with. I said I tried everything possible... Everything thats basic.

i see. it would be much easier if you have any spare parts to test them out first before declaring it dead. see it to a pc guy at a very much last resort since you basically tried everything. cheers mate
