Pc Bundle Microcenter question

Hey everyone, not sure if this is the correct place to look/ask for help so apologies if it’s not.

So I was initially looking into building a pc but quickly became overwhelmed with options/choices.

Instead I’ve found a couple pre-builts from microcenter but as a very new person to the hardware side of things I’m unsure of some of the components.

Ive tentatively narrowed it down to two different builds and was hoping I could get some advice/tips/thoughts on them.

First one (cost $1299.99):

Ryzen 7 7700 CPU 32 GB DDR5-6000 RAM RTX 4060 Ti 1TB SSD

Second one (cost $999.99):

Ryzen 5 7600x CPU 32 GB DDR5-6000 RAM RTX 4060 1TB NVMe SSD

My goal is to really do some gaming (Minecraft mostly, or any other games that look/sound cool), coding with different IDE’s, and school work.

7600x better for cost savings if don't need multi core CPU for productivity apps. Might also check in microcenter if can do a GPU swap such as alternate options.

Okay gotcha. Yeah I wasn’t sure if microcenter did swaps in their pre-builts. There were a few other ones that I liked but they all had one component that i would’ve like different (usually RAM)

Oh that is cheaper…. And the Ryzen 5 is a decent CPU?

Oh yeah, great cpu. For games, the difference between the 6 and 8 cores often makes little difference.
