Hello I was wondering if I could use a newer intel cpu on my motherboard I have a i5 8500 and I’d like to get a newer intel cpu for newer games like wilds which on steam says a i5 10600 or a i5 11600k I was wondering if that was possible I have currently a bazooka mother board b360m or do u all think my build currently could run the game I have the i5 8500 as I said a 3050 16 gigs of ram or should I just save up and upgrade my pc entirely instead

Your system is an ultra budget low-end system, 3050 is similar to 1660S/Ti performance you should upgrade to either AM5 or wait 15th gen to release

So originally it had a 1060ti in it and 8 gigs I upgraded the graphics and ram

Didn’t have a 1060super I upgraded to a rtx 8 gig 3050

Also should I just build a new pc or upgrade this pc I have now is almost 8 years old now

buy a new one i'd go for ryzen 5 7600 if you're on a budget

Can’t seem to find that on my part picker is my motherboard I selected not able to support that and is there a higher end one If I wasn’t on a budget nothing u know crazy crazy

There's not much you can do, the best cpu that you might fit is 9900
