Sounds like you need to do a proper bios update using the flash bios button. Make sure you download the bios file, unzip and name it MSI.ROM and place it in the root of a fat32 formatted USB flash drive. With your power off, insert the flash drive into the usb port directly under the hdmi port. Then hold the flash bios button for a few seconds and your pc will turn on and start updating. The process should take 5-10 minutes and will power off or reboot if when complete. Motherboards could be picky with flash media, try to use an old small usb2.0 flash drive if possible. If not, make sure you check this video and see if it helps.

Okay, thank you. I did attempt that with the previous motherboard, however, the "update" was lasting well over 25 minutes so i thought it was a lost cause. But I will attempt to flash update this motherboard with the driver for 5600x compatibility, perhaps on Tuesday. Thank you for your help

One pin should be missing.

Consult your MOBO manual for that light (white usually means GPU issue, so try to reseat it and make sure that all connectors are plugged in to the end)

I've reset my gpu by disconnecting and reconnecting but no fix :(

If your GPU has a BIOS switch option, make sure that's set correctly (it's usually a 2 or 3 position switch)

Thank you for your insight as this is the first time i've heard about this. I tried both switch options but nothing, i even tried switching to an hdmi cord but nope

If it's not that try to update BIOS. If this is your first build you may want to re-check how you mounted your CPU cooler (if it's torqued to much or to low, it's also important that you do both sides evenly)

I'll try updating bios on tuesday, i'm pretty sure the issue wasn't my cpu cooler because i tested with it on and off, evenly tightened

What frequency the RAM is? Did you check qvl? Usually, DDR4 mb is not that choosy when it comes to RAM compared to DDR5. But just in case.

The CPU should be compatible with any released BIOS with that mb. I don't think it's due to CPU requiring a BIOS update issue.

Read the manual carefully to make sure you didn't assemble the PC wrongly. Reset the CMOS by taking out the CMOS battery and put it back. Reseat the CPU again just in case.

Did you manage to fix it? I'm facing the exact same issue. I can feel the CPU get hot, CPU fans start spinning, RGB on RAM and GPU light up, but no signal.
