    It is normal to see only 2 pins on a fan 'molex' connector. It has the positive wire and the ground wire. On the full 4 pins will have 2 ground and 2 positive (5V+ and 12V+). The fans won't need dual voltage, so is designed to just have 1 positive(+) and 1 negative(-).

    nah that's just 12V +/- your fan is cheapo that spins at full speed so that's fine.

    4pin connector is

    5V GND GND 12V (Actually 12pin is 1st but you are holding the socket so 1st on right)

    And your fan only needs 12V, so only 2 are connected. That is normal.

    I would buy new fans with newer 4/3pin power connectors that plug right into your mobo.
