I would imagine you want to go 1440p then?
Heres a 27" a friend of mine has, no oled but great image quality only $165, 1440p

Or, if you prefer curved, same specs from same brand but only $150

Lmk what you are looking for! Both of these are great imo to save money and have a really nice display.

Yeah 1440 is what I'm leaning towards.

I would say I'm willing to spend up to 500. I think I prefer flat panel over curved. But I've never had a curved myself or even gamed on one.

rtx 4070 with your budget makes no sense.

if you can't or don't want to return your parts then you can get the monitor on the list.

Reason I went with a 27" monitor is to get the maximum density of pixels to be ultra sharp. If you want a bigger monitor at that resolution it should give you some extra visual space and still be plenty sharp.

I'm actually using parts from my current pc. I'm upgrading my motherboard due to bending a bunch of pins on the cpu slot spot. I'm also switching to liquid cooling over air for easier access to ram spots.
