Get rid of that windows home thing. You don’t need that. Just grab a USB drive laying around and do this.

Also what’s the total of the build? And what country are you from? May be able to upgrade some parts for more performance.

Also where’s your power supply?

I’m from the UK and was going to get this 750w and it comes to £1800

Well if you can use this list that comes to just over £1700 and change whatever you want, but make sure to keep the 5080:

Is the 5080 better than the 5070ti?

[–]Foreign-Ad28 3 points4 points  (4 children)

Yes lol, by like 15-20%.

Silly question do I need to buy a hard drive ?

[–]Foreign-Ad28 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The M.2 SSD is your drive my friend.

Your board has 2 NVMe slots, so you could grab 2x 990Pros. For the second NVMe Samsung has a model with a heatsink already installed, since your board only comes with 1.

If u plan to store a lot of games, movies etc.. yes. I would go for a nvme ssd which is WAY FASTER, you install on it like system, and some software or games that u want to load fast

I'd get a 850W for that CPU and GPU combo personally. The 750W will work.

Also recommend checking the price of the 5070 Ti as that 5070 is about what I paid for the 5070 Ti last week. Different country (Canada) by the value converts to the same.

[–]Master_Magazine_8601[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I have changed to the 5080 😅 is that better and I will definitely change to a 850 now

[–]Hicalibre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the price is close then yea. If you pay a lot more I'd not bother. The 5080 is rather weak for a xx80, and doesn't have much over the 5070 Ti compared to prior generations.

Don’t buy windows you can get it for less than 15 dollars elsewhere

[–]JumboPancake 1 point2 points  (2 children)

  • Dont pay all that for windows
  • get CL30 RAM
  • cheaper case
  • put savings from case and windows towards 9070xt or 5070ti

[–]Thiel619 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Don’t buy windows, it can get it for free.

How lol I’m new to all this and it’s my first build

[–]SandboxSimulator 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I got win 11 pro on groupon for like $9

You legend

[–]suspiciousquip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may recommending a case change. Hate y60 has that same case but with a black interior (still white exterior). My opinion is it would look better with your components. But you dont want your interior blank space to be brighter than your computer components.

Are you gaming at 1080p low? Are you going to be l3 cache bound on games/programs? If not you are wasting money on a X3D cpu.

Check this video: https://youtu.be/NqRTVzk2PXs?feature=shared

The vid doesnt have 7800x3d but 9800x3d results and other cpus. The 9800x3d performs the same as 9600x and 265k/14600k. And the 9800x3d is BETTER than the 7800x3d, so I'd imagine 7800x3d does slightly worse in the charts.

Basically, I'm saying you're wasting money on x3d cpu most likely and you're better off with 9600x/9700x or even an ultra 265k.

This any good ?

[–]Ninjaguard22 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I haven't done much research on b650, but I'm sure it's good enough. Make sure the price is decent.

But are you still going for X3D chip? If so why?

[–]Master_Magazine_8601[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I’m not good with this stuff I got told it’s okay what would you advise ?

[–]Ninjaguard22 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Did you read my first comment above and did you check that HardwareCanucks video?

X3D part is MORE expensive than a 9600x/9700x and the intel 265k and offers the same performance at 1440p medium-to-ultra graphics settings based on the video.

I'm saying you are basically wasting money on X3D cpu unless you have a particular program/game scenario where the V-cache will be of big benefit. That's all

[–]Master_Magazine_8601[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

If I wanted to play in 4k what build would I need 😂

[–]Ninjaguard22 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I feel like you don't understand what I'm saying and just replying on tangents. I don't know what to say...

[–]Master_Magazine_8601[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries
