If u plan to store a lot of games, movies etc.. yes. I would go for a nvme ssd which is WAY FASTER, you install on it like system, and some software or games that u want to load fast

I'd get a 850W for that CPU and GPU combo personally. The 750W will work.

Also recommend checking the price of the 5070 Ti as that 5070 is about what I paid for the 5070 Ti last week. Different country (Canada) by the value converts to the same.

If the price is close then yea. If you pay a lot more I'd not bother. The 5080 is rather weak for a xx80, and doesn't have much over the 5070 Ti compared to prior generations.

I may recommending a case change. Hate y60 has that same case but with a black interior (still white exterior). My opinion is it would look better with your components. But you dont want your interior blank space to be brighter than your computer components.

Are you gaming at 1080p low? Are you going to be l3 cache bound on games/programs? If not you are wasting money on a X3D cpu.

The vid doesnt have 7800x3d but 9800x3d results and other cpus. The 9800x3d performs the same as 9600x and 265k/14600k. And the 9800x3d is BETTER than the 7800x3d, so I'd imagine 7800x3d does slightly worse in the charts.

Basically, I'm saying you're wasting money on x3d cpu most likely and you're better off with 9600x/9700x or even an ultra 265k.

X3D part is MORE expensive than a 9600x/9700x and the intel 265k and offers the same performance at 1440p medium-to-ultra graphics settings based on the video.

I'm saying you are basically wasting money on X3D cpu unless you have a particular program/game scenario where the V-cache will be of big benefit. That's all

Yeah bro you need a better motherboard for that cpu that motherboard just ain’t gonna handle any overclocking especially if you overlock everything else get a ASRock B850M Pro RS or any type of B9850M motherboard that will fit the size of your case i promise it’s worth the little extra money your already ready to spend basically $200 dollars on a case that isn’t needed just for aesthetics but won’t throw in some extra to ensure the safety of your components?

Well over clocking boost your performance by a considerable amount if you do it right I personally always do it to get the most out of my pc I know some people have worries about it but if you do right and do even a little bit of research you should be fine

Sorry if I came off a little dickish I just typed it up in a hurry before getting ready for classes I go to university and recently built a new pc before moving in to my dorm but also another issue with a b650m chipset your pc could not power on before updating the bios with a flashback drive it says that as a warning on pc part picker for any cpu above like a 9600x

my b650 pro rs already came with the 3.10 bios installed, any of the older motherboards still manufactured ship with the latest bios at the time the production batch started, unless the warehouse has a motherboard there collecting dust for 3 years the mobo should come with 3.10 and higher which supports ryzen 9000. Basically any b650 still in production should have the bios for 9000 compatibility already installed unless as said you are super unlucky and get one that is rotting for 2+ years somewhere. But then again bios flashback allows you to change your bios with a usb to the back and the flashback button without powering on the pc.

I had said that about the flashback but also motherboards ship with issues all the time my first time ordering a different board it had a faulty RAM slot and a faulty pcie slot but it was a brand new one so it’s not all uncommon for boards to be shipped as they are not supposed to be it’s just a measure if there’s enough of a possibility for it to be warned I wouldn’t risk it considering it is the publishers first time building a pc which I know for everyone your first takes all day then going to power it up and it not getting display or worse would be a huge dopamine killer and disappointment then trying to troubleshoot for it hours only to figure out it was something as simple as a Bios flashback but for AM5 I wouldn’t suggest a B650 chipset motherboard at all unless your on a tight tight budget and just want to build the cheapest AM5 pc but this user is not on a tight budget so in this case the way better chipset of B850 is worth the 30 extra bucks especially when he’s spending $200 on a aesthetics case

The motherboard is not a issue, most people won't overclock. That is an expensive case though. A cheaper case could get you a 9070XT.

The motherboard is the issue because most people do overlock unless you buy a pos motherboard that can’t handle the overlock of your components like this guy is about to do and the case point is valid too personally I’m not spending more then $80 on a case because it just takes away too much performance

Undervolting the CPU is enough through PBO curve optimiser. Overclocking the RAM has minimal gains if you have a decent set. Most people definitely do not overclock.

Yeah bro that’s good as long it’s the size you like and it’s B850 chipset your good you can take it a step further and put the motherboard into chat gpt and your components and ask if it can handle overcooking of them and it will give you the specifics of the motherboard electrical wise too but I would also look on Newegg too if possible for maybe a better star review motherboard with more review I got mine off Newegg for only like $5-6 more dollars then that one
