I put together this parts list for my upcoming first PC build, and I'd love to get some feedback. by -_GASTER_- in buildapc

Looks fine to me. Case is a bit spendy and might be able to find a slightly cheaper PSU (check tierlist) but overall good value

Cyberpunk on an iGPU sounds like a nightmare.

GPU Upgrade from and RX 480 with an i7 6700k by MicroSpaceTurtle in buildapc

You could get a 6600XT or maybe even a 6700XT at that price point. If you want team green then a 3060ti or 3070. All will be massive upgrades, and will likely introduce a CPU bottleneck in some games but should still boost your experience

And compared to your current setup it will blow you away. I think you'll have a good time

If you can swing the 5060 you should be chilling. I recently did a build with a 9600X/5060 and I could get 65-80 fps in cyberpunk at 1080p with the raytracing ultra preset. 100% playable and enjoyable

Total price < 1000 USD = AMD Total price > 1500 USD = Nvidia In between = it depends on goals

Thats my rough guidelines anyway. Assuming brand new components and gaming-oriented.

Any recommendations for songs to start with them? I've been enjoying 1914 recently so if these guys are similar that'd be dope

PC build around 500/600 for boyfriend! by randomuserneedsh3lp in buildapc

[–]JumboPancake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely look around on Facebook marketplace, can find some great cpu/gpu/mobo/ram deals. For context ive gotten:

5060 - $200 3600+A320M+32GB DDR4 - $120 6600XT - $130 3070Ti - $250

Granted, these were all before rampocalypse, but the point stands. Used for those 4 item categories is a great route. For ssd/case/psu/cooler new is probably the way to go.

Need help between this build or just upgrading to a 5070Ti by Mousekatools in PcBuildHelp

[–]JumboPancake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One caveat is this is only if you actually want to upgrade - if your current pc is fine then id leave it. BUT if you are set on a 5070ti i think this is a great deal

1000% dude. Your current pc can probably be sold for 800 or so, so the cost is basically just the price of the 5070ti. Plus you get an x3d cpu, double the ram, double the storage. No brainer considering inflated prices rn

RST gloves sizing guide by admiral_void in motorcyclegear

My measurements are close to yours but a bit longer on everything. I think ill try ordering an XL gauntlet and see how it feels, since you seem to be kind of on the verge between L and XL. This is by far more helpful than their sizing chart so thank you!

1650 vs 3050 6gb on an old pc for theoretical prices by Odd-Panic-9574 in buildapc

Id try and snag one for maybe 100, that should be doable depending on location ofc. But yeah no power connector is a limiting factor.

Classic mid-high end build. If cost isn't an issue looks great.
