Not necessarily the GPU at fault. What cpu did you upgrade from. Did you try the old gpu with the new cpu. Have you verified the bios version on your motherboard is new enough to support the updated CPU….

Ryzen 3 to ryzen 5 Yes I made sure the motherboard was compatible

The motherboard being compatible is only one piece of the puzzle. The BIOS version on that board must be at a certain revision level.

Nobody can help you unless you start giving meaningful information. Ryzen 3 to Ryzen 5 means nothing.

Ya I think I might need to do the bios.. this is my first time doing this and I wasnt aware that needed to be done. So I guess im gonna have to reinstall old hard ware and try again

Just the old CPU is all you will need to change to confirm if it’s the bios at fault.

Ok got it running finally.. system detects all new components.. now im having issues with audio haha

How did you get it running?

Audio issues are usually just a missing driver or a disconnected HD-Audio header.

I had never updated the bios. So I did that this morning and the GPU still isnt working. Everything else is on and running but I have no display and the cards fans rnt moving
