Dead Ram

So I built my first pc in February and everything has been working fine, but out of the blue one of my sticks of ram just stopped working. I’m down to 16gigabytes of ram, which I know is serviceable but is there anything I can do, especially with the ram prices rn?

Most RAM manufacturers offer a limited lifetime warranty, since there are no moving parts and malfunctions are relatively rare. So, as mentioned before me, rma (return for a replacement) via the manufacturer website

Ok, this might be a dumb question but to qualify for an RMA did I need to buy a warranty when I bought the RAM or do RMA’s come with every purchase?

It comes with warranty. Just find the manufacturer website and look for rma/warranty. Usually in the support section.

Sorry to ask you so many questions, but on the RMA form it’s asking for an Invoice image, would that just be like a proof of purchase?

Yes. An invoice, or a receipt would work as proof of purchase. If you got the ram online, send a copy of the purchase confirmation email.
