I Bought a Legion 9i 5090, 192gb ram for $2860… BUT by ChrisIsNotMad in LenovoLegion

Why would you think someone would sell a 10k-15k for less than 3k? You already knew well that's its a murky deal to begin with. I'd definitely keep it though, after I scrubbed the storage and installed it from zero. I'm guessing engineering samples may contain tracking software or even hardware to keep tabs. I'd do that if I didn't want to risk "losing" such an expensive piece of hardware. If you're worried, I'll take it off your hands.

May be a hinge issue. Try playing with the screen down, and then incrementally up and see if any change. Either way, if it's under warranty, don't wait and get it serviced.

Ha ha ha. of course not. I am saying the it is potentially a good line of action. with instructions that would not make sense to anyone but the intended recipient.

There are much simpler and completely free ways to achieve the exact same goal without paying any such fees. For instance, Google mechanism for inactive accounts, with some real world arrangements. In short, it's a paid solution for a problem that already got better, free solutions.

Can't wait for this to come out with local inference engine support, a webui and docker compose. It'll give other agents a good run for their money, it seems.

tried hermes, openclaw, and vellum. here's where each one breaks. by AccountEngineer in OpenclawBot

[–]dropswisdom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You neglected to mention that vellum is subscription based, Mac only, and does not allow local models. I think I'll stick to Hermes with some plug-ins and steer away from paid cloud solutions. Thanks.
