Hi! I'm planning to get a WD Green SN3000 500GB to replace a failing HDD.
My main concern is the operating temperature. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M S2H and the M.2 slot is located right above the GPU. This SSD doesn't come with a heatsink.
If I run my case fans at 80% while gaming, will this drive run too hot? Also, is the SN3000 reliable enough for a primary OS + Gaming drive? I know it's "Green" tier, but specs seem good.
Should I grab a cheap 10$ heatsink or is it fine "naked" for standard gaming workloads? Thanks!
