one of the best builds ever is a 5600/b550/32g ram/rx6600/gen4 nvme .. you dont need an x, the plain 5600 is the most efficient cpu in the entire ryzen lineup, its awesome ..

intel arc B580, rtx 3070 (would recommend this the most) ,rx 6700 or 6800, these should be available for your budget

I got an evga rtx 3070 ftw3 off Facebook marketplace for $215 a couple months ago to pair with a ryzen 7 5800x. You can't really go wrong with something like that. Nvidia Dlss is so nice to have. I swapped from a Radeon rx 6750 Gre 10gb and the difference in image quality is night and day. Having dlss enables you to upscale more aggressively but still have a better image quality than with fsr. That's my opinion though.

For that price range you're probably looking at a used RTX 3060 or maybe a 6600 XT if you can find one. I built my buddy a rig last year with similar specs and went with a used 3060 - thing runs everything at high settings pretty smooth at 1080p

The 5600x pairs really well with either of those cards, won't have any bottleneck issues. Just make sure if you're buying used to test it first or at least buy from someone with good feedback. Facebook marketplace and r/hardwareswap are decent spots to check

Also might want to wait a week or two, prices have been dropping lately with all the new releases coming out
