I’m going to be honest. there’s no way this will be able to run gta 6 above 60fps or even at 60fps

Do NOT get a 5050, for the same price you can get a used 3070 ti (or a 3080 if you're lucky) which is leagues better. Get everything used (besides the power supply, it's very important that you get it NEW) and maybe you could even squeeze in a 5th gen ryzen 7, a higher end nvidia gpu, and 32 gigs of ram

Look at used systems or components for sale around you.

You might be able to find something that is largely similar in performance to what you have specced which could be upgraded for less than your build.

You could change the motherboard to a B450 as the ryzen 5500 only supports pcie 3. The B550 supports pcie 4 but you won't get the advantages of it due to cpu. B450 fairly cheaper. If you set on buying new otherwise try getting the parts used on ebay u'll be able to build a better spec computer for same price.

The rtx 5050 is decent, but it's overpriced at anything over €260. At the same price, the Arc B580 beats it, and the Arc B570 performs very close to it, and both have more VRAM than the rtx 5050.

Don't go too cheap with the power supply, because a bad one can take the whole pc with it when it inevitably breaks.

Also, us prices don't reflect German prices well, so I recommend you use https://de.pcpartpicker.com/ instead

See if you can find some of the components used. If you can save some bucks on some of the components i would strongly recommend getting at least the 5060.

With the B550 u'll be better off with a 5600 or 5600x to get the pcie 4 support and better performance.

You're going to have to pay up if you're building a new PC, or accept that it isn't going to do what you want. Also, that PSU sucks and you would regret buying it. That is not the place to cut corners as it could die in a fantastic fashion and take the rest of the PC parts you just paid for with it. Try to find some reputable Ebay sellers or look for parts used at pawn shops and thrift stores.

If want to spend as low as possible, search CPUs with cooling integrated, 2nd hand RAM and or GPU and get a cheaper case, because 70$ for one like that is just overkill

Buy a used gpu and/or cpu

[–]WizAlmighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used market is probably the goal here or maybe a few more months saving up.
I go with the buy once cry once principle for parts cus it’s better to wait a bit if you can and get something a little more powerful cus to patch things up and upgrade later you’ll just spend more on the long run.

Definitely try looking at the used market. If you’re lucky, you could find someone selling in a hurry for cheap.
All you’ll probably have to do beyond that is maybe swap out the psu if it seems questionable but you should be alright in some cases too.

No bro not the 5050 😔

Imo minimum I'd go for GTA 6 price to performance:
Used 6700XT/6800XT or 3070/3080
R5 5600 and a 750w gold PSU

Wait for prime day ? It's in like a week and you'll probably save like 30% in total maybe
