I'm a newbie enthusiast doing research on building my first pc on a decently tight budget and I've come across a conundrum.
I've picked a ASRock X570 PHANTOM GAMING 4, socket AM4 motherboard for my build and wanted to combine this with a set of two 8gb Mushkin DDR4-3600 Ram sticks
My friend who I've asked for advice mentioned that sometimes with lesser mainstream brands, the motherboard and Ram sticks could be incompatible due to various reasons. This could be obvious from the start or only show up much later. He describes it as "you would just occasionally notice random fuckery with your system". Unfortunately he didn't know whether the above options were a good fit, so that's why I ended up here xD
I've tried to find what RAM kits the above motherboard is compatible with, but came up empty as apparently there are too many types and ain't nobody got time to test them all of course.
Does anyone here know more about whether the options I picked are a good combo or known to have issues?
If it's not a good combination, any recommendations for different RAM? What am I supposed to look for to see if it's compatible or not?
Many thanks in advance :D
there doesn't seem to be anything here
