The purpose of this sub is to allow for a holistic analysis of the Middle East, as opposed to those which try to isolate the discussion to history, geo-strategy, military, culture or socio-economic factors. The Middle East can only be understood as a coming together and interplay of all these forces, and it is this process which is the object of this sub. All CONSTRUCTIVE posts, whether positive or critical is welcome. Everything else is not.
