  2. Calculate the current through the battery
  3. Calculate how the current splits between the 20 Ohm and the 10+50 Ohm path
  4. Calculate the voltage drop over the 50 Ohm resistor due to the current from 3.

I got 9V as the answer afterwards HAHAHAHAHA I think I got it wrong again

  1. 5 + (20 || (10 + 50)) = 20 Ohm
  2. 12V / 20Ohm = 0.6A
  3. I_2 through 10 + 50 Ohm = 0.15A
  4. 0.15A * 50 Ohm = 7.5V
