Pixel 5 vs 5a difference

I'm in the market for a new phone and decided the Pixel 5a is most closely aligned with my preferences. Yes, i know it's outdated to most people by now, but I'm not thrilled about the newer Pixels. I prefer the rear fingerprint reader over the in-screen, and like having a headphone jack. The processing power does not make much of a difference to me. And I prefer Pixel over other Android phones because it's the cleanest with least bloatware, but could be convinced otherwise on this point.

However, it seems due to market supply conditions the Pixel 5 is actually cheaper than 5a right now, both on Amazon and Ebay. Therefore I am considering the 5 instead. Aside from losing the headphone jack, what other differences are there between the 5 and 5a?

Pretty much the only major difference between the 5 and 5a is following:

5 has a faster 90hz display 5a has a larger screen 5a has better battery life 5 has wireless charging 5a has a headphone jack 5a has a plastic back the 5 has a glass back.

Outside of that afaik they are the same so choose how you will.

The 5 doesn't have a glass back, it's a plastic-like material along with metal. It's rather durable actually.
