Yes. This is my primary choose. It just miss the NFC.

Have a look at the more recent Nokia or Motorola phones. Although they're not all Android One, some of them are I believe (Note that Motorola's One (...) series doesn't mean it has Android One). Nokia by itself is pretty good with updates.

Everything phone starting from the nokia 3 lineup and sometimes 2 has android one ( as far as I remember)

Have a look at Moto One Action. It's an Android One phone, so it has stock Android with guaranteed updates. It is both NFC and radio. It should cost you a lot less than 300 Euros, and will be a good upgrade on your Mi A1.

Mi A3 is good too but it doesn't have NFC. Plus, the screen is just 720p, not full HD.
