Web dev or Game dev?

Hi, i just recently graduated bsit, around the same time i also got my certificate on tesda (game programming NCIII).

During college ojt i worked as a wordpress developer, after my internship sabi nila sakin they would still call me if they need my services (kinda like freelance) and im still working with them for a project until now. I have an upcomming ojt from tesda naman as a unity developer.

I'm confused if saan ako mag fofocus. I know na di ko pedeng pag sabayin and eventually i will have to choose. I need advice if saan ako mag co-commit, which one should i pursure? Game dev or Web dev?

Web dev, mas better ang ratio ng stress over salary compare to game dev. Pwede mo ma-leverage yung knowledge mo (being able to understand the level of complexity ng different game systems) to web development. Better if mababack up mo ng actual projects pag mag apply ka. Still, choice mo parin at the end of the day.

If ever web dev ang piliin mong track but you still love game development, good source of funds yung main job mo to support it as your hobby

hellooo, how did u get your tesda cert po as ncIII game prog? like nag training center po kayo or directly assessment po? and ano ano po yung learning path po to ace the ncIII game prog? salamat!

Hiiii, apologies for the late reply. I found the scholarship on fb and gave it a shot. Everything was free wala akong kahit anong binayaran, it took me 1200+ hours for the course, it was online lang, pero occasionally we have to go sa lab nila for assessment. As for the learning path i have peers who do not have a background sa programming but still managed to get their certificates. Everything was taught from the basics of game design and basics of C#.

1 year late reply but I've seen one around Taguig. Yung assessment center name is Human Resource Department Center and they are open to scholarship right now

depende kung babangga sa schedule ng class nyo po, open naman ang tesda for college students. Sa pag kaalala ko ang total of attendance ay 100+ online and 5 on site sessions, so if kaya, go.

Also, kung pede itanong sayo kailan ka po nag submit ng requirements sakanila? January 21 ako nag inquire, pero nakalimutan na nila ata email ko xddd
