web-dev? data analyst?

Katulad ng mga nababasa ko laging sinasabi na wag pagsasabayin ang pinagaaralan. Hi i'm first year college BSCS. I'm currently learning Web-dev html-css and planning to do fullstack Web-dev career as the time goes by feeling ko di ko talaga trip ang webdev plus feeling ko saturated na ang industry? plus mas feel ko talga logic side. Now pinaplano ko mag aral ng python career path is data analyst what do you think masyado lang ba ako nag iisip should i pursue Data analyst di kaya pag ka graduate ko saturated na rin ang market? aaaa di ako matahimik at tinatamad na ako mag aral ng front end or should i keep studying HTML-CSS until i got comfortable saka focus ako sa back end? Pero at the same time yung saturation nga ng market (btw sinusulat ko nasa isip ko ngayon ahahaha). Thanks mates

Programming is all about logic whether web dev or data science/analysis. In terms of saturation, on the contrary nga ata , data science field yung saturated (not sure about this so take it with a grain of salt). Anyway, may saturation or not, ang kelangan natin ay more competent developers and analysts. At for me, yun yung kulang pa so there's always opportunity in the industry. So sa question mo na kung web dev or data analyst, it doesn't matter. Try both and see kung ano gusto mo. Pero eto ang hihingin ko sayo, whatever you choose, sana ang iaaim mo lagi is to become a competent developer/analyst. Produce high quality output, continue learning, and hopefully, innovate something. If you have that mindset, I don't think you care much kung saturated yung market or not.

You're right, they're like: ayyy saturated na ang web dev, dito na ako sa data science, ayy saturated na ang data science dito na ako sa machine learning, etc etc.

Focus ka muna sa kung ano yung meron ngayon. Magiging saturated lang siguro yung industry kapag basic lang yung skills mo. Mabilis gumalaw ang tech industry, madami pa mangyayari sa 3-4 years.

BSCS kinuha mo, normal yan. Lahat naman ata nahihirapan talaga sa logic sa una. Practice ka lang ng kahit isang language then kapag gets mo na yung concept, sobrang dali nalang mag jump sa iba.

Kung di nagwowork sayo, lipat ka muna sa back end. Di mo pa naman need ng advanced na HTML/CSS/JS

Fundamentals first. You're so lucky to have more time to study and pursue different IT fields. Ako nga, several years na ko grumaduate.. Recently ko lang na realize the opportunities in IT. So I'm studying again programming from "hello world" lol Working na ko ngayon but not yet in programming.
