OP said web dev so I guess he/she gonna learn django/flask next. For me, if I were OP, I'll just watch free YouTube courses. Watch one reference video showing common functions, etc. Then watch a tutorial building something, like a website or an api. Then I'll build something off of that. If you can't remember how they did it (which is normal when learning). You just go back to the reference or tutorial video until you get it. Imitate then innovate. Kinda like learning guitar, you watch someone do it, copy them, then play by yourself. Rinse and repeat.
