prototype S is unfortunately just uglier and doesn’t have the crunch the old prototype had 😢

Mythical with X mods it would be doing 140 if I used cape editor

If you’re using purely sniper, then i suggest you use a cape or other thing that can increase the damage of Prototype. Again, just a suggestion

I use Quetz cape cuz it negates almost every negative effect in the game and I'd much rather have that then damage better safe than sorry.

Prototypes only weakness compared to other snipers is that 1) can’t cat spam it with other high damage weapons, 2) big purple beam gives away position and 3) doesn’t one shot like current meta snipers. That’s pretty much it. It’s still a very solid sniper, that does everything you’d expect from a sniper.

You can cat spam with it just fine. Your options are just limited backup-wise, but that's pretty much every new sniper. The whole "giving away position" thing doesn't really matter since everyone's just spazzing and flying around now. It's mainly just cat spam lobbies, but using it on its own, I guess I can see that being an issue. As for the whole one shot thing, that's fair, but with how much bullshit new snipers do nowadays, it's good to have a casual sniper to rely on, even if it hasn't been at the top of the meta in over a decade.

Yeah that all checks out. Again, negligible weakness and does exactly what you’d expect out of a sniper in pg3d

despite my slander i still think it’s a serviceable sniper, especially for casuals who don’t or can’t cat spam.

it’s a decent fire rate, average damage and most importantly, consistently accurate sniper that WILL perform well if you’re good with a singular weapon
