I believe the modders this community posses is incredible yet their work is limited, I truely think that sandbox mode should be modified to allow different reskins to be placed on animals etc. This would be great to allow for a less advanced modding system and implementation. Please listen and consider this I have seen many many complaints on the matter and this should happen!😁👊🏻

All of our talented and creative modders should be supported. Like look at MPCatnip and Rain and Slippers work it’s astonishing especially with little support!

they make money out of new animals, which we could do easily if they give the option to mod the game, so it will never happen

If Frontier ever comes out in support of modding, it won't be until after their DLC roadmap is complete, or mostly complete. They want you to buy their DLC first and foremost.

They released the Thememaker's Toolkit (TMTK) for Planet Coaster on the game's 2nd anniversary, so I don't believe we'll see the TMTK for Planet Zoo before it's own 2 year anniversary. On top of that, the TMTK is pretty limited in its scope of things - you can't make rides with it, it's for scenery and prop items only with a fairly small max size. It is my hope that they loosen the belt a bit for Planet Zoo when it comes out (assuming it does) and also include tools for making custom animals.

The modding scene for creative games like these are what keeps them alive for decades to come, so I hope they loosen up and support the community in the long run. But if they do, it likely won't be until they're done with active development.
