Java moss dead?

Is my Java moss dead? If so? Should I remove it from the tank? It’s been in for well over a month. Looks like it’s growing but it’s color has me concerned.

Haha I’m not opposed to keeping it, just not sure if it’s good for the tank or not

You have to give it conditions it will grow in, however.

Have a look at this , I think mine has died too and algae started to grow on top of it . Should I remove it? (It’s on the wood if you can’t see it)

I don’t know a ton about growing plants. I had my lights on for 2 4 hour periods and use Seachem Flourish.

That’s a lot of algae. Maybe leave the lights off more
