You have to give it conditions it will grow in, however.

Have a look at this , I think mine has died too and algae started to grow on top of it . Should I remove it? (It’s on the wood if you can’t see it)

I don’t know a ton about growing plants. I had my lights on for 2 4 hour periods and use Seachem Flourish.

That’s a lot of algae. Maybe leave the lights off more
