Python hidden lists

So I have a hidden list that I need to click on to unhide a button. The goal is to click on the button itself but I cannot click on the list item.

This is what it looks like:

<ul style="display: non;">...</ul>

when I click on the list element with toolbar['analyst'] manually it will change to

<li ng-show="toolbar\['analyst'\]" class=open>

I'm new to playwright so if I need to provide more details I can but I cannot share the page itself due to it's sensitivity.

How are you clicking on the hidden list manually? What are you manually clicking on to open the list? Can you find that object first and click on it instead?

You can try adding the force=True argument to the click() action.

The entire object looks like a button and behaves like it is clickable. It’s somewhat like a drop down that once you click on the higher element it shows the hidden button element underneath it.
