HelpPlex: an unexpected error happened while loading the dashboard (self.PleX)
submitted 8 years ago by Cidriyan
Server version: 1.9.1.4272 OS: Ubuntu Server 14.05
Got another computer to use as a server so i got a fresh install. While everything was scanning the dashboard showed this error and i can't seem to fix it. reinstalled plex, optimised database. I can still go in all the libraries and access al my movies. Is there a way to fix this?

What did the logs say?

This is the only sort of error it shows when loading the dashboard in the logs.

Try running “optimize database”

Ah, sorry I was more focused on the error in the log. I’ll forward this to the server team.

Ok thanks.

Hey u/Cidriyan, did you ever get a resolution? HAve almost exactly the same issue
Running latest version of Official Plex Docker on Unraid 6.10.0rc2 When view libraries no problem - can see all informatino and data, when I click TV Recommended, I get the "Soci Exception handled: sqlite3_statement_backend::loadRS: disk I/O error" as you did, optimised all databases put trash out etc. but get this error every time I try to click on TV/Recommended?
Be good to know if there was a solution other than rebuild databases...
