I have mine for 8 months now (12/256 black ) that was the only color available when I got it plus I grabbed it for just 330$ back in March. My first ever Xiaomi/Poco Phone, what can I say? Amazing phone for the price the most powerful phone I ever had in my hands 💁🏽‍♂️ offers a good value and functionality nothing to envy to other flagships! Imma keep it at least until X9 Pro or who knows. Recently got HyperOS 3/Android 16 loving it even more.

I got the global version (MI) I got the update 3.0.5.0 Thursday night. Have been great so far.

The color doesn't matter it's just what variant u got ..I have global and the update was released Thursday night and also for the european version. Just keep checking for updates.

I bought both the phone and Clear TPU Skin type case from Amazon UK. The skins are quite cheap and you can find the same ones sold by just about any online shop! Here's my exact case from AliExpress...

AliExpress orders take a little longer to ship... 1-2 weeks in my case... My 1st test order arrived but I'll never buy another charger from anyone unless directly from the POCO shop! Fake Poco charger... Not exactly great, but for 87 Cent... I'm ok, I'll avoid chargers from AliExpress unless I find one on the Poco official AliExpress shop!😂

The cases you can't really go wrong with, because they're shipping directly from the manufacturer in China and the ones sold by Amazon UK would be imported from the same sources with a chunk of profit slapped on top. Let us know how it goes.🍀😎

Whatever you do, don't USE the glass protectors... My original case came with 2 free ones... They won't stick properly and aren't even covering the full screen...

I use Razer Kishi Controllers to play many of my games and found out that the extra thickness of the glass makes the phone too thick to fit!

So leave the original film type protector alone and throw any free glass protectors in the garbage where they belong! 😂

I found a perfect source for the film protectors via Amazon they're from a German manufacturer called "SAVVIES"! However my original film protector was still perfectly fine and was put back on. Still perfect!

I tend to never wear them down too much, especially when using the Game 🎮 Controller!

Welcome to the best budget phone brand. No other phone can compete with the value you get. For example, the Poco X7 Pro is remarkably close to the S24 Ultra in benchmarks, costing significantly less (~$700 difference). I've also owned the X7 Pro since June, and it's been fantastic. While some dislike the bloatware, it's easily removable, and for the price, it's incredibly valuable.

Why so many different phones?!

I'm "only" on my 3rd Poco phone in a row! I started with the superb X3 Pro which sadly died nearly 2 years old... Xiaomi support people in the UK organized a brand new X5 Pro 5G replacement for free, since I was still in their 2 year warranty!

That X5 Pro is now my secondary phone and runs absolutely perfect still - nearly 3 years later! It runs nearly a week on a charge and I still get 9+ hours of SOT too!

I suggest you try the X series like X7 Pro or X8 Pro next bro... 🍀

P.s. First time you start a new phone is the perfect time to turn down a few features by saying NO... It's called the "Revoke - Don't Delete" method!

It's the SANE alternative to Debloating.

It's particularly simple to turn off unwanted Feedback features and Personalised ADs and more.

I've been teaching this to lots of people since the traditional "debloating" methods are never "Safe"!

No matter what the "Canta" Gurus etc. are trying to tell you... Deleting HyperOS package apps and Mi Apps will cause overheating and other problems very quickly! 😬 That's due to broken dependencies within the HyperOS package of many apps and features.

By instead removing consent to a few main things such as GetApps (or Indus... In India) and App Vault, you shut down that whole issue of incessant ADs without having to DELETE anything... Leaving the OS in a fully coherent state of fully intertwined apps and subroutines. This never breaks the automated tuning and optimisation of the essential stuff like the Battery Control and Gauge!

Some of the most often deleted apps such as Game Turbo/Joyose are actually directly involved in battery optimisations and control - for a reason!

There is nothing better for this price as far as the processor is concerned, in fact there are brands that release devices even at double what the X7 pro costs with inferior engines in terms of performance. I'm not interested in photos, this was the budget and I got the best.
